Chappell's Indian sojourn
The Chappell era has begun!!!
And a new chapter unfolds in the glittering career of Greg Chappell !!!
The message is clear-"Commitment to Excellence" will be the cornerstone of this journey,the destination being to make India the no.1 cricket nation..!!
The detailed contours of this theme will be unravelled in due course of time,as Greg duly gets about the task of working with the team.
Finally,one shouldn't look over the fact as to why the Chappell chose Bangalore as his base here in India..not that he's bowled over by the hip-pub-culture of the garden city!! :)
The future 'Team India' is moulded and developed in the National Cricket Academy in B'lore and what better way for the coach than to have a first-hand look at the 'bench-strength'/'talent pool' and build the quality backup,competent enough to challenge and usurp any complacent first-teamers..!!!
One sincerely hopes the BCCI will provide Greg with all the support !!!
