1965..Indo-Pak faceoff!!!
Recent 'revelations' by Gohar Ayub Khan,former foreign minister of Pakistan and son of Field Marshal Ayub Khan pertaining to 1965 war made headlines all over the sub-continental media..
In this age of sensationalism where every bit of non-news is 'news' as long as the moolahs keep coming in, one was not surprised to find so much attention being given to a ridiculous claim by a has-been in the pak establishment.
But have we bothered to look at the facts or even apply some common-sense before getting carried away with the trash of Gohar?
Well,M.J.Akbar, the outstanding journalist has given glimpses of that battle in 1965 in a classic piece and more importantly illustrated the sheer hallowness of the claims made by Gohar!!!
